Desiree White, Creative Director and Principal Event Planner

Desiree’s a wife, mother, and caregiver with over 20 years of experience in designing events. Planning her daughter’s first birthday party is when she discovered the desire to plan events. Working in the non-profit world increased her passion to continue to help coordinate events and fundraise for worthy causes such as the American Cancer Society, the Glaucoma Foundation, and the PKD Foundation.

Desiree holds a BS degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Missouri Kansas City and a Certification in Event Planning from Correlations, LLC., and a love for fashion & design.

By infusing them together, the birth of  Elegant Events KCMO was born in 1997. Since then Desiree has designed and coordinated Weddings and Social Soirees events that have taken place in backyard settings, parks, mansions, ballrooms, and historic buildings.
